The Marist District of Asia - MDA
Twelve years ago when it began, this project was named “Ad Gentes”.
The present Marist District of Asia is constituted by the communities and projects in Asia directly responsible to the Brother Superior General and his Council. Currently, these communities and projects are in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Thailand, Vietnam and some other countries. The District also includes one training house in the Philippines and another in Sri Lanka.
Brothers from other Provinces or Districts are temporarily transferred and become members of the Marist District of Asia. There are also local Brothers, lay missionaries and other lay volunteers.
