Course for Marist Leaders

The 2nd Course of Marist Leadership (CLIMA), organized by the Youth Ministry Team of Region III took place April 18-21 in the city of Ponta Grossa. Fifty-two young people took part in it, coming from Curitiba, Ponta Grossa, Joinville, Criciúma, São José, Florianópolis and Pouso Redondo.

The Marist Leadership Course represents a very special moment of formation and has as an objective to deepen and to assume the ministry of leadership through self-knowledge, formation, spirituality, ecclesiology and integration.

The carefully thought out contents in the present CLIMA were explained by Geraldo, from the NGO “Na Trilha”, based in Porto Alegre. The speaker dealt with the five dimensions of integral formation, as they are depicted in Document 85 of the Brazilian Episcopal Conference titled “Evangelization of Youth – Challenges and Pastoral Perspectives.”

Along with the study of the topics, there were also moments to share, to reflect and to go into depth on the contents, together with time for being together and free time. Of fond memory was the soccer game between the State of Paraná and the State of Santa Catarina. Santa Catarina won…

On Sunday night there was a Eucharist, in which the participants of the Marist Youth Ministry were missioned to their respective places, and an offering was made of the lived experience of this CLIMA 2008.
