Im very grateful for the realizations in the meaningful insights shared by Br. Teofilo, FMS and Fr. Edgar Javier, SVD, who were both good and smart speakers in their respective topics. I come to realize and reflect... Were in the post-modern calling for econstruction...a paradigm shift like in educating the young. It is certainly a privilege to teach Gods children. One has to move forward and cross the boundaries of infinity...face the challenges of times, the variety of cultures and degradation of morals/values.

Looking at the horizon, this years retreat, made me ponder to be more open-minded...be wiser ...and do better than before... Lets go on with our Marist journey as we touch others lives especially the least ones. Thank you to Fr. Edgar for his versatile and enlightening philosophies and educational stories. We really learned with fun that is so meaningful and inspiring.

With hope and optimism in cultural diversity, may we be able to impart knowledge, values and skills to the young in Marist way in home, school, community, and worldwide making sense of culture and religion in reality.

The wonderful and encouraging insights of Bro. Teofilo signify Marist Spirituality to teach/ preach and live in practical ways with compassion as St. Marcellin did. We can be Marcellinians of present time. Lets make sense in our lives. Allow God, Father Champagnat, and Mother Mary, our inspirations and light of our lives. Like Mary’s fiat, our “Yes!” in God’s call could make a good difference.

Life is indeed mysterious with the variations of ups and downs but these can’t be reasons for us stop in our mission for these will be savour…ingredients for us to understand more our purpose and mission in life. Let His will work on us as He unexpectedly intervened in our lives to live life in the fullest and fullness of time. Let prayers strengthened us in our voyage.

Yes, we can make it… You and I can be good manifestations of Saint Marcellin Champagnat and Gods good shepherd. Why don’t we try to make efforts? Everyones giftedness was commendable and worth remembering in happiness, friendships, silence and prayerful experiences in communion with God. Like Jesus Christ, lets be real springs of living water in applying the Marist characteristics today and tomorrow as a good paradigm shift in our lives.

“O God Almighty, may we be Marist in doing ones mission, true and good living witnesses of Gods Word. We ask favour and entrust our present and future in Your will. May we live in solidarity and in kindness as we touch others, make NDKC and the world we belong as place of joy, hope, faith, and a Marist mission in making Jesus known and loved in post modernity through the guidance and gifts of the Holy Spirit. May we be blessed always. Amen.”

Fellow Maristas, let’s make it happen. Share and be a gift of life to others! Know thyself. Love yourself. Be yourself. Do the best of yourself. Share the best of yourself.
Good luck and God speed our spiritual life-journey. Thank you.
