“Cervantespedia” organized by Former Students’ Association

23/10/2008: Spain

The editor of Marist News has received an interesting article on a topic which could be of interest and practical use for some of our readers. The article treats of how the school, Cervantes de Córdoba in Spain, in honor of its 75th anniversary, has set up a web site (www.maristascordoba.com) dedicated to gathering the history and traditions of the school. Set up in the wiki format, the site, www.cervantespedia.com, was established by the Former Students’ Association with the intention of capturing the history and tradition of the Cervantes School in a collaborative way.

As the springboard for the initiative, the organizers have placed on the internet, (wiki format) the book entitled “El Colegio Cervantes (1933 – 2008: 75 Years of Marist History in Córdoba,” which was brought out for the anniversary. Those who use the Internet can refer to the website, annotate it and expand it by means of inserting a written contribution in the same way that the process occurs in the well known wikipedia.

To now more about this topic, take a look at the website www.maristascordoba.com.
