Meeting of the Schools’ Network of the Province of « Brasil Centro-Sul »

From 8 to 11 August, general directors responsible for the different educational fields and administrative management of the network of schools of the Marist Province of « Brasil Centro-Sul » took part in a meeting in Curitiba. During the meeting, they examined the plan of the units and the drawing up of a set of strategic initiatives for the schools’ network; They also considered the question of the qualification of Marist managers in the administrative and pedagogical domain.

Among the topics treated, Dr Mme Elvira Souza Lima – researcher in human development – spoke about « Tendencies relative to the educational field from the studies of neuroscience ». The founder and president of « Hoper Educaçao », Ryon Braga, considered the subject « Trends in the education market ».

Mr Gerson Luis Carassia, for his part, insisted on the importance of systematising  processes in a teaching institution. Dr Dario Bortolini and Mr Carlos Presente presented the policies of the economic sector of PMBCS. Prof. Alex Sandro Quadros Weymer made the strategic management of persons his central theme.

And finally, Prof. Dr Isabel Cristina Michelan de Azevedo presented perspectives for the future of Marist education in the documentEducational Project of Marist Brasil  and its implications at the level of the new National Educational Plan of the Brasilian government for the next ten years.

The initiative provided space for debate and the exchange of experiences among the different actors in the diverse regional situations of the Province.
