On 2 January, 196th anniversary of the foundation of the Marist Institute, Br Victorino Díez Maeso made his perpetual profession at Mar del Plata, in the presence of the Br Provincial, Horacio José María Bustos, the Brothers who had just finished their retreat, other Brothers of the Province and the lay people of Mendoza.
« Today is the opportunity for giving thanks to God and to you, brothers and friends, for having wished to be at my side at this moment. Many others would have liked to be there but could not come. To all, my most sincere thanks. But today, my regard, my mind and my heart are centred on the consolidation of a project of LIFE. Three « sacraments » are realized in me today which, as visible signs, need to be concrete : the gift of self, service and love in the Marist charism, with the passion of Marcellin. »
