04/01/2014: Brazil

During the Mass, he consecrated himself in a definitive way to religious life by the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. Brother Wellington Medeiros, Provincial, who presided at the rite of profession, invited the Brother to take up the charism received from Saint Marcellin Champagnat, his founder, and make his own the spirit of the Institute characterised by the virtues of humility, simplicity and modesty.

Br Edvaldo commenced his provincial journey in 2002 when he joined the prepostulancy. He did his postulancy in the city of Vila Velha / ES from 2003 to 2005. He entered the novitiate at Maranguape in 2006 and took his first vows there at the end of 2007. From 2008 to 2010, he made his scholasticate, a period of study and formation in Marist ministry, at Belo Horizonte.
