Brothers Gérson Dresch and Manuir Mentges make final profession

After a journey of almost two decades, Gérson Dresch, 29, and Manuir Mentges, 31, of the Provínce of Rio Grande do Sul, celebrated their definitive consecration through the profession of   Perpetual Vows on 11 October. The celebration took place in the parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Campina das Missões – home town of the two Brothers.

At present, both live and work in Porto Alegre. Br Gérson is director of the Colégio Marista Assunção and Br Manuir  educational co-ordinator of the Educational Board of the Colleges of the Marist Network.

They take on their definitive Marist vocation in the Institute with a strong identification with the work for youth.
