Eight brothers involved in two formation programmes held for three months in Spain and in Italy met to analyze its results and to plan new upcoming courses this year.
The formators of the programmes ‘Senderos’ in El Escorial, Spain, and ‘Mid Life’ in Manziana, Italy, met with the secretariat of Brothers Today and two general councillors in the general house in Rome from June 22-24.
“We experienced satisfaction, joy and hope due to the results of both programmes, which were expressed in the voices and experiences of the brothers who participated,” said Brother Hipólito Pérez, assistant director of the secretariat Brothers Today.
“Our goal was to evaluate the experiences (of the brothers), what we’ve achieved, ways of improving and to welcome the suggestions of the participants for future experiences,” he told the general house press office on July 5.
Br Hipólito stressed that another aim was “to share our journey on the assigned mission, life experiences and how we integrate them.”
The brothers also discussed two new courses - ‘Post Perpetual Gier Programme,’ which will take place from Aug.13 – Sept. 22, and ‘Current Formators,’ planned for Oct.19 – Dec.18.
The encounter included Brothers Eugène Kabanguka, Ernesto Sánchez, Hipólito Pérez, Tony Leon, Ángel Medina, Joarês Pinheiro, Alfredo Herrrera and Dennis Cooper.
