Champagnat Movement of the Marist Family

Encounter of Animators of MChFM

07/03/2016: Bolivia

Fifteen animators of the Champagnat Movement of the Marist Family of Bolivia gathered on Feb. 27 – 28.

Participants spoke about their path and the process that each community is living during the encounter.

Brother Mariano Varona led a reflection under four points: The meaning of encounter, the traits of the MChFM identity, the path of the Marist Institute and the challenges of personal and group life.

Ricardo Miño, representative of the provincial of Bolivia, spoke about the subject “Jesus, the model for animators.”

Participants then discussed the provincial guide for the MChFM and the first steps to elaborate the triennial plan of formation were taken.

Bolivia is part of the Santa María de los Andes along with Peru and Chile. There are 14 fraternities within the MChFM and 7 are in Bolivia (6 in Chile and 1 in Peru).
