Marist Evangelization in America

Encounter and Dialogue of the Interamerican Subcommittee of Evangelization

30/05/2016: General House

The Subcommittee of Marist Evangelization of America gathered in Argentina in the Cruz del Sur province from April 21 – 26.

The encounter was aimed at reflecting, sharing and reviewing the path taken, of evaluating the Marist Pastoral Encounter held in Lima, Peru, in August 2015.

Other aims included raising awareness of the progress of the Subcommittee’s lines of action and tasks included in the Strategic Plan of the Inter-American Commission on Mission and moving forward in the systematization of the Document of Guidelines of the Marist Evangelization in America.

This meeting enabled the participants to know the valuable history of Marist presence in Argentina and to establish a close dialogue with Brothers, laity and youth that live out the mission, making the slogan of “We are all one with the others” alive.

At the feet of Our Lady of Lujan, we entrust our work, we coexist and share our experiences within the Institute of Our Lady of Lujan, learned of the presence and life that the Reference Center for kids @ s Nazareth celebrate brotherhood and commitment to the Joint Community Barrio de San Jorge.

We thank the Community of the Provincial House in Buenos Aires for the attention and facilities for developing this meeting.

The Subcommittee is formed by Br Félix Roldán and Ulises Centeno (Arco Norte), Cecilia Guardia, Br Joilson Toledo and João de Paula (Cono Sur and Brazil).
