Alberto Guillermo Aparicio

He was born in the locality of Darregueira, Province of Buenos Aires, (Argentina) on February, 9, 1963. He begins his journey in Marist life, with the stage of Postulant, as a pupil of the School, and the “Novitiate” in the cities of Buenos Aires and Lujan.  He made his first profession in 1983 and his perpetual profession in 1989.  

His academic formation is of agricultural engineer in the University of Morón (Buenos Aires), professor in religious sciences in the Marist Superior Institute of Buenos Aires – a graduate as a Bachelor of Arts in Administration and management of education in the UNSAM.  In San Lorenzo of El Escorial (2005 – Spain):  formation of community animators.  He graduated in Theology of Spiritual Life in the Pontifical Gregorian University (2012 Rome), and Theology of Consecrated Life in the Pontifical Lateran University, Instituto Claretianum (2014 – Rome).   

His mission as Marist Brother: professor in catechesis, Vice Director at Primary level, member of the team of provincial pastoral ministry, General director, Rector and Superior of the community, Provincial Councilor, member of the Provincial Team of Initial Formation, coordinator of the team of Brothers and communities of the Southern Cone, Vice President and president of Consecrated life of Patagonia, Vice President of CEDEC (Neuquén) – Council of Catholic Education – referent of youth and vocation pastoral ministry (Rio Negro) member of the provincial team of reflection on the Project ‘New Models of Management’.  In the year 2015 he was elected Provincial of the Province Cruz del Sur and at present he is also coordinator of the team of implementation of the region South America.    

I have great expectation that we can be, all the brother capitulants together, co-creators of the Marist journey, updating the dream of Marcellin to the present times and the contexts in which it unfolds.
