Br José Sánchez Bravo is appointed for a second term of three years

The general council, after studying the survey carried out in the Province, has appointed Brother José Sánchez Bravo as provincial of México Central for a second term of three years.

In a letter sent to the province on April 20, superior general Brother Ernesto Sánchez thanked Brother José Sánchez with these words: “Thank you, Pepe, for your dedicated and close leadership, as well as for your openness and availability to continue serving the Institute as provincial.”

Brother Pepe will begin this second triennium on Oct. 18, the day that marks the start of the provincial chapter.

Brother Pepe was born in Puebla, Mexico, in 1973. He studied at the Marist University of San Luis Potosí. His vocation is closely linked to youth ministry. Brother Basilio Rueda was his novitiate teacher.

After professing, he was in the educational communities of San Luis Potosí, Celaya and Uruapan, where he was a teacher, a youth minister and a school director.

He was appointed for a first term as provincial in 2015.
